At Amogh Preschool, we are committed to creating a sustainable future for our children. We believe that it is our responsibility to teach them how to take care of the planet and the environment. Our commitment to sustainability is evident in everything we do, from our daily activities to our larger initiatives.
One of our most significant sustainability initiatives is our food waste composting program. We understand that food waste is a major contributor to greenhouse gas emissions and landfill waste. Therefore, we have implemented a composting system for all food waste generated on our premises.
Our composting program not only helps to reduce our carbon footprint but also provides valuable soil enrichment for our garden.
In addition to our composting program, we also prioritize reducing waste in other areas. We use reusable plates, cups, and utensils for snacks and meals instead of disposable items. We encourage our students to conserve water and energy by turning off lights and faucets when not in use. We have also implemented a recycling program for paper, plastic, and other recyclable materials.
